What is Fix Cell ?

Previously, we got to know about the packages and service fees for storing items with CloudRoom. Today, let’s take a look at certain items for which CloudRoom has set a fixed cell count, or Fix Cell.

What is Fix Cell?

Normally, CloudRoom calculates the number of cells based on the dimensions of each item by measuring its length, width, and height to determine the service fees. However, Fix Cell assigns a predetermined cell count for specific types of items, making the calculation process more convenient.

What types of items does CloudRoom have designated cell counts for?

CloudRoom Box size M

The CloudRoom Box size M has dimensions of 34x35x45 centimeters, which equals 53,550 square centimeters. When calculated as cells, it amounts to 54 cells. However, CloudRoom has designated that the storage capacity for this box will be set at 50 cells.

CloudRoom Box size M = 50 cells

Therefore, the service fee for one month is 150 Baht.

CloudRoom Box size L

The CloudRoom Box size L has dimensions of 40x60x40 centimeters, which equals 96,000 square centimeters. When calculated in terms of Cell, it amounts to 96 Cell. However, CloudRoom size L is defined to have a storage capacity of 80 Cell.

CloudRoom Box size L = 80 Cell

Therefore, the monthly service fee is 240 Baht.

Shirt or Closthes

Regardless of whether you are storing shirts, gowns, coats, long pants, shorts, or various types of work attire, each item is assigned a total of 30 Cells.

Shirt = 30 Cells

Therefore, the monthly service fee is 90 Baht.

Hanging garment box or Wardrobe box

The hanging garment box, measuring 60 x 60 x 125 centimeters, has a volume of 450,000 square centimeters. When calculated as cells, this would equal 450 cells. However, this hanging garment box has been designated to have a fixed cell count of 100 cells.

*This hanging garment box can hold a maximum of 10 garments. If you need to store 4 or more garments, using the hanging garment box for storage is more suitable.

Hanging garment box = 100 cells.

Carry-on suitcase.

A carry-on suitcase that can be taken on board typically has a size of approximately 115 cm, or measures 55 x 40 x 25 centimeters,
which equals 55,000 square centimeters or 55 Cell.

Therefore, CloudRoom has set the fixed cell for a carry-on suitcase at 30 Cell

Large suitcase larger than carry-on

A suitcase larger than the carry-on size, which cannot be taken on board, measures approximately 50x30x80 centimeters, equating to 120,000 cubic centimeters or 120 Cells.
However, CloudRoom has set a fixed cell count for larger suitcases at 90 Cells.

Golf bag

A golf bag is assigned a fixed capacity of 90 cells. Normally, a golf bag measuring 30x40x130 centimeters equals 156,000 cubic centimeters or 156 cells.
Therefore, it will be charged for only 100 cells.

Book

Books, regardless of their type or size, will be allocated a fixed cell of 3 cells per book.
